If the DG is started by human after the electricity has gone then it is called as Manual DG Controller

Same as that of AMF with the change that the DG is not started automatically and needs a manual crank using a key just as we do for our cars

Same as AMF but with lesser logics in the microcontroller and hence less complex and less expensive also

Mostly small RATED DG are built with Manual Controller and Big Rating DGs used for Hospitals , Cinema halls are built with AMF Controllers
